YUKKA INTERVIEW WITH DANCEHALL SUPERSTAR, CE’CILE
YUKKA caught up with Dancehall superstar, Ce’Cile as she passed through the UK promoting her latest album ‘Jamaicanization’. We got a chance to talk to her about her music and style.
YUKKA: Your latest album is called ‘Jamaicanization’ and is getting crazy rotation on my ipod at the moment. Can you tell me more about this project?
CE’CILE: ‘Jamaicanization’ is a tourist destination musically for my fans and people who like Reggae, Dancehall and Jamaican culture. I want people to listen to it and say “Ohhhh Ce’Cile from Jamaica, we love her!”
YUKKA: We see that you are a very stylish woman. What does style mean to you?
CE’CILE: Style is picking the stuff that helps to bring the feeling out that you want to but being comfortable at the same time.
YUKKA: So you are currently on the road promoting ‘Jamaicanization’ hard, what do you like to wear and take on the road?
CE’CILE: I like every brand. I like expensive s**t, and cheap s**t – if it looks good. I’d be rocking a $5 wifebeater with a $1000 shoes. But you know what I like, sexy underwear under anything you wear. On the road I can not leave home without a push up bra, a nice pair of jeans and some good sneakers.
