| Five Four Clothing was started in Los Angeles, CA in 2002. It was started by designer Andres Izquieta and Dee Murthy. The line started from a saying, "one" which means "one love", hence "five - four = one". Both founders were born in 1980 and is established as a company ran by youth for youth. They have built the line through their hustle, drive and passion. Their personal goal for Five Four is real simple; innovate, dream and participate. They want others on the come up to see Five Four as an entity where they can draw inspiration, energy and motivation to accomplish their own goals. In 2004 they launched the Independent Outsider Network, a coalition of free thinkers, entrepreneurs, activists, and other people who think outside the box.
